T-Ball/Pitch Ball Aide Evenings or Mornings- Hey, batter swing! We are looking for volunteers to assist a t-ball coach with a team of 6-10 children ages 4-8. Volunteers are expected to assist the coach as needed.  You will be assisting the coach with basic warm-ups, positive encouragement, supervision of children while team is batting, position children out in the field and assist with participants running the bases. You are essentially an extra pair of hands. Little knowledge is preferred about baseball or softball, but not necessary. The second hour is pitch ball and you will assist the coach, as mentioned above.

Volleyball Aide-Do you enjoy the sport of volleyball? Do you enjoy working with children? Then we have the perfect volunteer position for you, a combination of both. Volunteers will work with children ages 4-12 under the direct supervision of the instructor. Volunteer will assist with set-up, take-down, skills and game-like drills. Some basic knowledge about volleyball is required.

Soccer Lead/ Aide-Do you enjoy the game of soccer? Do you like working with children? If yes, then we have the perfect fit for you! We are looking for volunteers to work with children ages 3-7 to lead them through a variety of soccer skill stations. You will assist in set-up and take-down. But, the main responsibility is too lead children through these stations: dribble around the cone, red light, simon says, shoot and score, etc. Lesson plans are available. Will train.  No experience necessary.

Action Shot Photographer-Get ready and take aim and shoot! This is a fun flexible volunteer position that aids our department in displaying the youth in our community being active! Individual would take photos of participants in our recreation programs,  so that they may be utilized for program advertising. Time and places may vary depending upon the activity. The schedule is very flexible. Volunteer must own their own camera and be able to send photos via email to recreation department.
