Duct Tape Date Nite offers comedy for couples
For the Rapids City Times
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – A local event will offer “a night of comedy for couples,” as it welcomes Comedy Central’s Kenn Kington to the Performing Arts Center.
Dr. Trey Turner, pastor at Church of Wazeecha, said that the evening is a gift to the Wisconsin Rapids community, as the area has a high divorce rate. “We are almost double the state statistic,” he said.
Duct Tape Date Nite is promoted as “the perfect evening for couples who want to stick together.”
The event will take place Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center, 1801 16th St. South, Wisconsin Rapids.
