Vesper American Legion Auxiliary to host 100th anniversary celebration

VESPER – On Nov. 9, the Vesper American Legion Auxiliary No. 520 will host a 100th anniversary celebration in honor of the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary, and in observance of Veterans Day.
The celebration will be held at the Vesper Community Center from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
The movie “Sgt. Stubby – An American Hero” will be shown at 10:30 a.m. There will be a Quilts of Valor display, patriotic and military books display, “Missing Man” table display, kids’ activities, door prizes, and a light lunch.
