Rudolph to host veteran’s honor walk this summer
For the City Times
RUDOLPH – The first annual Rudolph Honor Walk is coming to Main Street Rudolph in 2020. Banners will go up on the 20 Main Street poles along Old Highway 34 before Memorial Day and will come down after Veteran’s Day.
Businesses or individuals will be able to designate employees or community members of their choice. The family/sponsor receives the banner after its tour of duty, an 11 inch by 17 inch color proof, an 8 inch by 10 inch color proof, and five honor walk commemorative books.
Families must provide service member information and a photo of the service member for the banner. Banners are 24 inches wide and 60 inches tall. Multiyear sponsors are also available and can choose the preferred placement of the banner as an option.
Proceeds from the Honor Walk will help fund the Rudolph Legion Post No. 485 community projects – Cub Scouts, Children’s Miracle Network, Badger Boy’s State, and the Veterans Christmas Wreath Project at King.
