Police & Sheriff Calls for Mar. 19
Lighting or Vandalism: A call was made to dispatch regarding a possible vandalized house on the 900 block of 9th St. South. According to the caller, it looked as if the house had been hit by a vehicle. Officers checked the house and suggested that the building may have been struck by lightning.
Phantom Fighting: At 11:43 p.m. a call was made from the 1200 block of 19th Ave. South regarding a man and woman fighting. Officers arrived to find nothing.
Missing: At 9:07 p.m. a call was made from the 400 block of Chestnut regarding a missing person. The complainant requested extra patrol in her area in case the missing man returns.
Drunk and Hungry: At 10:57 p.m. a call was made from the 2600 block of 8th St. South regarding an allegedly highly intoxicated male walking towards a food establishment with another male. The man was escorted to a nearby hotel.
