In efforts for continued sustainability, the city will be looking at solar energy.

The Mayor’s Council on Sustainability will be held this Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 5:00 p.m. inside city hall. Aside from discussing recycling ordinances and planning future projects, the group will be delving into learning more about solar energy.

A program called ‘SolSmart’ reduces barriers to solar energy growth by local governments. They are funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.

City hall is located at 444 W. Grand Ave.
